Friends of the Children – Western Montana 2022 Gratitude Report

We are pleased to share with you our inaugural Gratitude Report for 2022 to celebrate Friends of the Children – Western Montana’s first year serving incredible children and families! We’re excited for you to read the stories of impact and friendship that are transforming children’s lives.

Friends of the Children is honored to walk alongside children for 12+ years as consistent adult role models and to witness their amazing growth. We’ve had teachers tell us that “these are different kids,” and we see the children making great strides in their social emotional development, as they form deep and loving relationships with their Friends and peers.

Our team is continually struck by the impact we can have on a child by being present in a consistent and loving way and working with them to find their spark and overcome adversities in their lives. As Duncan Campbell, founder of Friends of the Children, likes to say, “It’s about being a Friend, nothing more and nothing less.” Having a Friend makes a big difference.

We’re incredibly grateful to you as an early champion of our mission. We look forward to working with you and other community leaders to continue building Friends of the Children in Western Montana in the year ahead so that more children who need a Friend will have one.
