Hannah brings a heart for connection and a passion for equity to her role as Family Engagement Specialist at Friends of the Children – Western Montana. With a background in both micro and macro-level social work, she’s spent the last several years supporting Montana families through direct service, advocacy, and systems change.
She holds a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Native American Studies from the University of Montana and is currently in her final year of UM’s Master of Social Work program. Her academic path reflects her deep commitment to community wellness, cultural humility, and relational healing.
Before joining Friends of the Children, Hannah served as a Practicum Intern at the Center for Children, Families, and Workforce Development, where she helped lead initiatives to strengthen Montana’s Community Health Worker workforce. She also supported survivors and their families as the Outreach Coordinator for the Brain Injury Alliance of Montana and worked on the frontlines as a crisis responder for 9-8-8, offering compassionate support to individuals during critical moments.
Hannah thrives in spaces where relationships come first. Whether facilitating community conversations or walking alongside families, she believes in the power of showing up with authenticity, creativity, and care.
When she’s not working, you’ll likely find her reading a good book, hiking a mountain trail, horseback riding, tending to her garden, or spending time with her husband and close friends.
