Staff: Chayse Buckskin

Chayse Buckskin (he/him) is a proud member of the Blood tribe and grew up in Cardston, Alberta. His career has been dedicated to working with youth, having served as a youth mentor for Kainaiwa Children’s Services and most recently as a Native Student Specialist at Missoula County Public Schools. Growing up in a single-parent low-income household, Chayse understands firsthand the difference a positive mentor can make in a young person’s life. He is particularly interested in promoting culturally relevant and informed practice to build resilience and promote positive identity formation.

Chayse is a proud dad to Camden and Solei, and when not with his family can be found on the golf course. He enjoys being active, travelling, and listening to music.
