Francine Dupuis has spent most of her life on the Flathead Indian Reservation in Montana, shaped by a unique upbringing rooted in Kootenai culture. Raised alongside her parents, Vivian and Tony Mathias, and her Papa Chief Baptiste Mathias, she grew up in a family home on the shores of Flathead Lake. Francine now resides in Pablo on the family ranch with her husband, Joe, where they’ve raised nine children and remain deeply involved in the lives of their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A cultural leader, mentor, and educator, Francine has guided three generations of women and is passionate about community and education, serving on the SKC Advancement Board and actively supporting youth activities. She enjoys powwows, stickgame, ranch life, and traveling when time permits.
