Stacy Houge

Program Director

Stacy is Friends of the Children’s program director. Stacy has an impressive career of working with young families and children to build loving relationships and deliver fun and enriching programming that lifts up children and families.

Before joining Friends of the Children, Stacy worked at Mountain Home Montana for over ten years, serving young mothers and their children in a variety of capacities. She started in the residential program as supportive staff and moved through a range of positions which eventually led to leading the Mental Health Center as the Clinical Director. Stacy has a partner, three children, and two dogs who fill her life with joy and adventure. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, as well as spending time outdoors hiking, camping, soaking in hot springs, and cross-country skiing. If you’re careful you might spot Stacy in her red 1966 Dodge Dart cruising around Missoula and blaring Bruce Springsteen’s finest album, Darkness on the Edge of Town.
