Lauren Foster

Professional Mentor

Lauren is excited to bring her life-long passion for working with youth to Friends of the Children. She grew up in Kalispell, Montana, where she was a nanny for special needs children, worked at a daycare, and helped facilitate education programs at local elementary schools. Another one of her favorite jobs was volunteering with the YWCA to lead backpacking trips for young girls. The joys and challenges of those experiences inspired her to find a career where she can continue to build meaningful relationships with families. Lauren recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Montana.

In her free time, you’ll usually find Lauren outdoors enjoying the many opportunities Montana offers; her favorite activities include flyfishing, backpacking, skiing, and mountain biking. At home, she enjoys cooking and relaxing with her two cats, Radar and Sookie. She also enjoys volunteering her time with Rotary Club.
