Erin Ricard, P.E. is, by trade, a metallurgical engineer with over fifteen years of experience in her profession. However, she also holds a Master of Business Administration and a Secondary Education license to teach Mathematics in the State of Montana. She has been teaching, tutoring, subbing, and para-educating for the past eight years in a variety of capacities. She is passionate about supporting public schools and the equity they provide; but, she loves meeting children where they are to let them grow as it feels comfortable (and letting them experiment and make messes!).
Erin has two children of her own, Elena (9) and Collin (7), who attend Russell Elementary. Elena and Collin both play piano, rock climb, and attend language lessons in Missoula. The family has two dogs – Darby & Quigley – who they enjoy taking on walks throughout Missoula. As a family, they love to go to the theatre, eat ramen, and explore the world.
