Alek Nelson
Development Associate
Alek comes to Friends of the Children with several years of experience studying and working in nonprofits. He attended Utah State University and obtained a bachelor's degree in journalism and public relations. After working in communications for a nonprofit theatre and art museum, he received a Master of Fine Arts in arts administration at Southern Utah University.
Alek enjoys playing board games, catching movies at The Roxy, and going on outdoor adventures with his dog, Lady.
